"EVERYONE SHOULD CAREFULLY OBSERVE WHICH WAY HIS HEART DRAWS HIM, AND THEN CHOOSE THAT WAY WITH ALL HIS STRENGTH".

The quote above is a Hasidic saying I came across while reading, words that I immediately double underlined with a black ballpoint pen as they cemented their place in my memory. At the point in my life that I first encountered this quote, I wasn't sure if I really had a 'way'. I was a broke, 20-year-old college student at a small liberal arts school who couldn't pick just one area of study, so she chose three. I knew I had a wide variety of interests, a palette of passions, but what was my drive? What kept me centered, kept me grounded?

What was my 'way'? 

And after I reflected on it, after narrowing down the reason behind most of my actions and life choice, I realized that Nick was my way. Not long after this realization, I felt I needed to encapsulate my thoughts via blog, like any Internet-slave Millennial. 

This blog is about my life's journey with Nick, as a sister of a young man with special needs, and how he's shaped my entire being. Whether you choose to binge-read, follow along entry-by-entry, or select just one chapter to enjoy, I hope that Nick changes your life the way he has changed mine.
